For my transfer, the policies were easy to find, and the fees and timing were clear before I sent anything. I appreciated that nothing seemed hidden, because it’s annoying when you have to dig around for basic information. It did what I needed it to do, politely speaking, but transparency is definitely the main thing that made it okay

I was the one receiving money from my sister overseas, and it came through faster than I expected. I got the message and was able to pick it up the same day, which was a big relief.
The staff at the pickup location didn’t make things complicated at all. They just asked for my ID and the reference number, and that was it. I think a lot of customers would appreciate how simple that part is, especially when you just want to get your money without any hassle.
I was expecting some kind of delay since it was the weekend, but everything went smoothly. From my side, Remitly worked really well, and I’d be happy to use it again.

It worked fine today, which, is all I was hoping for. I’d been expecting maybe a little hiccup because that always seems to happen when I’m in a hurry, but nope, it just did what it was supposed to do. Not much else to say, but in a good way

I’ve used a few transfer services before, and what I like about Remitly is that they actually check things before sending the money. One time my transfer needed a little extra info, which was kind of annoying in the moment, but it made me feel better knowing they were being careful. So far I haven’t had any weird charges or fraud issues, and it’s been working well for me...

I was so relieved using Remitly because everything showed up in my language and I didn’t feel lost for even a second. The steps were super clear, the names and country options made sense, and the messages didn’t make my brain panic like other apps do. I sent money to my family without getting confused or stressed out, which felt like a small miracle. Easy 5 stars from me!

I ended up canceling my order once, mostly because I changed my mind after already making coffee and sitting down to compare a few things again. The cancellation was easy enough, and the refund came through quickly, which I appreciated. No drama or long waiting around.

I haven’t actually used Remitly yet, so take this with a grain of salt, but it seems like a solid option to me. I’m personally drawn to services that keep money transfers simple and don’t make the process feel stressful, and Remitly seems to have that kind of reputation. Most of the reviews I’ve seen are positive, especially around speed, so I’d feel comfortable trying it when I need to send money

"Fast transfer, no hassle"
I used Remitly to send money to my family it was way quicker than I expected. I chose the fast option and they had the money within a few minutes, so there was no sitting around wondering what was happening. I’ve used other apps before where it takes hours or even until the next day, and support usually just says stuff like, “Your transfer is being processed” or “Please allow more time.” This time I didn’t even need to contact anyone. It was simple, fast, and I’d definitely use it again when I need to send money in a hurry.

The money arrived fine in the end, so no issues there. I just expected the tracking to be a lot clearer and more up to date. The updates were slow and a bit confusing, so I kept checking over and over because I wasn’t totally sure what was going on

Been using Remitly to send money to my family, every transfer has gone through without any hassle. Shows the status clearly in the app, and I get updates as it moves along. "Flexible payment options make it easier"
I like Remitly mostly because it gives me a few ways to pay, which is what I expect from a money transfer app. Most of the time I use my debit card, but if I don’t feel like using my card, I can usually go with a bank transfer instead. That flexibility makes it more convenient because I’m not stuck looking for another app if one payment method isn’t working. Overall, it’s been simple and useful for me, and I haven’t really had many issues with the payment side of things

I referred a friend and the bonus did eventually show up, so I can’t really complain too much. It just took longer than I was expecting, and for a minute I wasn’t sure if I had missed something in the process. Overall it worked out fine, but I do wish the reward rules were explained a little more clearly upfront.

"Works, just kinda slow sometimes"
The app gets the job done most days, but it can be a little sluggish when I’m checking rates or waiting on updates. I had one transfer screen freeze on me once and had to restart the app, which was annoying. The money still went through fine, so no huge issue, just not the smoothest experience.

“3/25/24 I’ve used Remitly a bunch of times to send $. It’s safe & a real thing. NOT a scam. It’s definitely better than Western Union. “Frankly it doesn't much matter whether you get hold of them or not. Their English is unintelligible and they are as thick as bricks and can only manage scripted responses. ABSOLUTELY USELESS”
